Card of the Day - Peachy Birthday

Hello and welcome back! Today I have another birthday card for you.

Don't you just love these peaches? They look good enough to eat! I inked up the stamp with Pale Papaya ink then used a sponge dauber to add a bit of Calypso Coral before stamping on the cardstock. I love the extra dimension you get with that technique.

I stamped the sentiment in Pear Pizzazz, then stamped over it again with Versamark so that I could add some clear embossing to make the sentiment stand out a bit more. The Stamparatus makes it so easy to do this!

This card was inspired by the recipe challenge at As You See It and the tic-tac-toe challenge at the Paper Players.

Thanks for stopping by, and happy stamping!

  2. Those peaches DO look good enough to eat! I love how simple this is, but with the beautiful DSP, those yummy peaches, the gorgeous ribbon, and your embossed sentiment, it all adds up to one fabulous card! Thanks so much for playing with my Tic Tac Toe grid this week at the Players as well as our recipe at AYSI!

  4. Those peaches are gorgeous and as you say, daubering on a little extra colour really adds dimension. I like your glossy, embossed sentiment too - another great technique. Thanks for playing along with us at As You See It Challenge.
