Hello and welcome back! Today's card is the next in my personal challenge to use uninked stamp sets. This set just came out in the August-December 2020 Catalog, so it hasn't been sitting around too long.
This set has large sentiments so it lends itself to clean and simple designs. I bunched up the tulle and tied it with some linen thread. It's pretty bulky, so I needed to double up on the dimensionals for the sentiment piece!
The design was inspired by the sketch challenge at As You See It and the colors are from this week's Color Throwdown challenge.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

Supplies used (all Stampin' Up!):
Stamp sets - Christmas Means More, Cookie-Cutter Christmas (envelope), Versatile Christmas (inside sentiment)
Paper - Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, and Cherry Cobbler cardstock
Ink - Cherry Cobbler
Accessories - Cherry Cobbler 3-1/2" Scalloped Tulle Ribbon, Linen Thread
Tools - Big Shot, Stitched Rectangles Dies, Cable Knit Dynamic Embossing Folder, Stampin' Seal, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals, Mini Glue Dots
This texture gives off a warm feeling all by itself! The red tulle is quite a statement and certainly draws the eye to the bold sentiment. Thanks for joining in with us at As You See It.
ReplyDeleteI've always loved that cable knit embossing folder and it warms me up just looking at it, as we got 10 inches of snow here yesterday, breaking a 120 year record for the most snow on a day in October! Wayyy too early! The effect of the tulle you used is striking and the sentiment is perfect for it! Thanks for joining us, Cindi, at As You See It Challenges!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful design and I'm really loving that textured background! Thanks for joining us at CTD this week!
ReplyDeleteI just love this....silly, but I LOVE it! The poufy netting, the colors, the sweater background, love it all! So happy you shared it with us at As You See It this week!
ReplyDeleteI love the red tulle behind the sentiment. Great card! Thanks for sharing it with us at the As You See It Challenge Blog!
