Hello and welcome back! This week I've decided to try a challenge mash-up! I'm entering this card in The Paper Plunge Red, White, and Blue Challenge and the Fab Friday 64 Sketch Challenge. Here's the sketch:

And here's my card:
My son's girlfriend has a birthday coming up in just a couple of days, so she will be receiving this card in the mail. It also gave me the opportunity to ink up another set that I've had for a while but hadn't yet used. I just love that cute little smiley cherry on top!
Well, that's it for today. I hope you like this little card!
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

Hello and welcome back! Today's card is for the challenge at The Paper Plunge. The challenge this week was to create a project using products that are retiring at the end of this catalog year on June 2. I've got so many things in my stash that qualify (!), but I decided to use this set, which hasn't even been inked up yet. How did that happen?!
Here's my card:
I nearly missed the deadline for this challenge, so I had to create something quickly! The retiring products I used were the So Very Happy stamp set, the Blossom punch for the flowers, and the Color Coach to come up with the color combination. I'm really sorry to see the Coach go, because I use it a lot. However, since most of our colors are staying for the next year, I'm sure I'll still get some use out of it.
I hope you enjoy this card!
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

Hello! It's been waaaaay too long since I've posted, but I'm hoping to get my mojo back!
Today's card is for the Flower Challenge at The Paper Plunge. I just received my box of Stampin' Up! new catalog sneak peek products today, but I also included a couple of current sets in my order. One of them was Flower Patch, with the coordinating framelits. I've been wanting this set for a while, but when I saw that it would be in the new catalog, I decided it was time to add it to my collection!
I have a friend with a birthday coming up, so rather than pull something from my stash, I knew it was time to make something new. Here's my card:
I've seen lots of these flowers stamped on white cardstock, but I thought I'd try stamping them on colored cardstock to get deeper colors. It's really a pretty simple card, but the layers add interest. Also, I added a bit more color with the Candy Dots on the "O"s and the Thick Baker's Twine bow.
I hope you like this card, and I promise to try to get back to posting more regularly! :)
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!
