Hello and welcome back! Today's card is for an old friend from high school. She is obsessed with piggies!
When I found myself at Jo-Ann Fabrics last week, this cutie from the clearance aisle "jumped" into my cart! Don't you just hate when that happens? 😁
I knew immediately that I'd be sending her off to my friend, but she couldn't go without a card and This Birthday Piggy had the perfect images. I got the sketch inspiration from the challenge at Just Add Ink.
To create the banner I used the Deckled Rectangles Dies to cut a rectangle then rotated it to cut the point for the banner. The stamped image was colored with Stampin' Blends and cut with a smaller rectangle. The greenery and flowers were cut using the Garden Gateway Dies. I added my new favorite embellishment, the Iridescent Rhinestones, to the flower centers for some bling.
I'll be shipping this package off to Pennsylvania on Monday. I think Holly will be surprised!
Thanks for stopping by, and happy stamping!
