Hello and welcome back! Here's today's card:
This design was inspired by the rainbow challenges at Double Trouble and Try Stampin on Tuesday and the sketch at TGIF Challenges.
It was serendipitous that the sketch displayed rainbow colors so that it fit perfectly with the other two challenges! Sometimes I feel like I take sketch challenges a bit too literally, but I thought this sketch was a great way to use these alphabet dies that I've been hoarding. I moved the "birthday" sentiment down a bit, so as not to cover up the "happy."
My personal challenge for this card was getting all of the letters centered and straight. I get a little twitchy if things don't line up right. 😄 I think I did okay!
Thanks for stopping by, and happy stamping!

ReplyDeleteLove the bold colour panels - great card! Thanks for sharing with us at both Double Trouble and TSOT :)
ReplyDeleteThis is great!! I love the colors! And getting those letters straight is hard--you did it perfectly!!!
ReplyDeleteSo Cool that you were able to use the rainbow with the sketch and also use one of the options from TTOT and our Roy G Biv Color Challenge and create a CAS card so bright and cheerful... fun card. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble. Love your participation in our challenges.
ReplyDeleteCindi, what a lovely birthday card! I really like the way you used color blocking to create the birthday sentiment!! Using the black circle embellishments stair-stepped across your sentiment is quite clever, too. Thank you so much for joining Double Trouble AND Try Stampin' on Tuesday for our challenges!!! -Donna
