Hello and welcome back! Here's today's card (or cards):
I used the sketch from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge for these cards.
Both cards were created on a Basic Black card base with a layer of Misty Moonlight under the DSP. I used both sides of the DSP and switched the patterns on the second card. I'm not sure the die-cuts around the label really show up very well against either background, but it is what it is. I had originally planned just for the green and blue, but added the white to give a little more definition. A couple of the die cuts are flipped around so that they fit the sketch better. (They would typically be facing the opposite direction.)
Thanks for stopping by, and happy stamping!

Supplies used (all Stampin' Up!):
Stamp set - Framed Florets
Paper - Basic Black, Basic White, Misty Moonlight, and Shaded Spruce Cardstock; Flower & Field DSP
Ink - Misty Moonlight
Tools - Big Shot, Timeless Arrangements Dies, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Dimensionals
I really like the dark background with floral papers, Cindi. The touch of white does help the die cuts stand out. It works a bit better on the second card so those really pretty florals are fully visible and the die cuts are a gorgeous match to the colors there. Thank you so much for sharing at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Hope to see you on the blog again soon :-)
ReplyDeleteSO pretty, I love the darker background with the pop of white! The flowers are so pretty! Thanks for playing along with Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge (AHSC).
