Playing along with The Paper Players

Hello and welcome back! Today's card is inspired by the challenge at The Paper Players. It's a card in black and white with just one additional color.

Here is today's card:

Thoughts and Prayers has long been my go-to stamp set for sympathy cards. I used the reverse spotlighting technique on the tree and then added some retired ribbon and the sentiment stamped on a retired punched shape.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

Supplies used:
Stamp set: Thoughts and Prayers
Paper: Whisper White Thick Cardstock; Basic Black, Pool Party, and Whisper White cardstock
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Pool Party ribbon from the Sycamore Street combo pack (retired)
Tools: 1-1/4" circle punch, extra-large oval punch (retired), Tombow Multi Liquid Glue, SNAIL, Stampin' Dimensionals

  1. A very lovely card - love the Pool Party with the black and white. Thanks so much for playing along with us at The Paper Players.

  2. This is such a cool technique and works perfectly with this stamp set. Pool Party is gorgeous with black and white! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
