When the Fox Builder Punch came out last year, I was excited to see how creative many of my fellow demonstrators were with ways to use the punch and matching stamp set to create hundreds of different critters. The cat is an easy one! I pulled a couple of retired items out of my stash to make this card.

Hello and welcome back! Today's card is for the sketch challenge over at Create with Connie and Mary.
As you can see, it's a pretty simple sketch, so I tried to stay true to that. Here's my card:
I'm not sure what happened to the color in this photo - the others I took at the same time are much more true -- but you can get the idea.
The card was created with just two colors, Whisper White and Pacific Point. The Whisper White layer was stamped with the star from You're So Sweet, and the die cut is the star from the Mini Treat Bag framelits set. I backed it with a piece of the Brights Backgrounds Designer Series Paper, and added the Pacific Point stitched satin ribbon to hold the tag. A very quick and easy card!

Hello again and welcome back! This week's challenge at Can You Case It? is a sketch challenge.
And here's my card:
While our website provided the sketch, my personal challenge has become to use stamp sets that I haven't inked up yet, and color combinations that I haven't tried yet. I've gone through my current sets and turned every set that I haven't used on its side, so they're easier to find. And when I saw this color combo in my Color Coach, I was a bit surprised that I hadn't used it yet, since blue is my favorite color!
When I stamped the main image, I thought it was a bit stark, so I sponged all over with Marina Mist ink to soften the image. And I think the pearls add just a bit of elegance with the simple ribbon bow. (As a bonus, this ribbon is one of the weekly deals through Monday!)
This card was pretty quick and with simple changes to the color combination and the sentiment, could be used for just about any occasion.

Hello again and welcome back! This week's challenge at Can You Case It? is a Designer's Choice - basically, anything goes!
I think these are the hardest challenges for me - I like at least a little bit of guidance, but here goes:
So this week, you get a two-fer! My inspiration for these cards came from something I saw on Pinterest. I just used quarter sheets of cardstock in three different colors, used an edgelit to trim them at staggered lengths, and then used the positive on one card and the negative on the other. Not difficult at all, and no waste! I would have to say that the trickiest part of these cards was lining up the Little Letters Thinlits, but using a layer of wax paper under the dies helped the cardstock pop right out!
Now that you've seen my cards, and the others designed by the team, why not have a go and enter our challenge this week? I'd love to see what you come up with!
