Card of the Day - Christmas Means More

Hello and welcome back! Today's card is the next in my personal challenge to use uninked stamp sets. This set just came out in the August-December 2020 Catalog, so it hasn't been sitting around too long.

This set has large sentiments so it lends itself to clean and simple designs. I bunched up the tulle and tied it with some linen thread. It's pretty bulky, so I needed to double up on the dimensionals for the sentiment piece!

The design was inspired by the sketch challenge at As You See It and the colors are from this week's Color Throwdown challenge.

It's nearly November so it's probably time to start thinking about this year's holiday cards. This card will probably need to be hand-delivered because of the bulk from the tulle.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day!

  1. This texture gives off a warm feeling all by itself! The red tulle is quite a statement and certainly draws the eye to the bold sentiment. Thanks for joining in with us at As You See It.

  2. I've always loved that cable knit embossing folder and it warms me up just looking at it, as we got 10 inches of snow here yesterday, breaking a 120 year record for the most snow on a day in October! Wayyy too early! The effect of the tulle you used is striking and the sentiment is perfect for it! Thanks for joining us, Cindi, at As You See It Challenges!
